Reaction Rate Investigation formulationI am trying to work by the rate of answer between marble chips(calcium carbonate) and Hydrochloric acid. This exit be my plan of howto carry out my investigation.There be many factors, which I could change in this experiment. Theseare1) Concentration. An increase in dousing means at that place are to a greater extent particles. More particles means there testament be more collisions.2) line up Area. Breaking the solid into smaller pieces will increase the surface field of study exposed to the other reactant.3) Temperature. Increasing the temperature will ca hire the particles to start faster. When particles move faster, more collisions occur and the collisions are more violent. This should increase the reaction rate. exclusively of these factors will affect the reaction rate, but I impart discreteto change the concentration of Hydrochloric acid. This will determinethe rate of reaction by measuring the amount of one C Dioxide givenoff.As I will only change one factor, I will have to economize other factorsconstant. These will be -1) The temperature2) The size of the marble chip3) The homogeneous apparatus will be used throughout the experimentI predict that as the concentration of hydrochloric acid increases andit becomes more concentrated, the more Carbon Dioxide will be givenoff. As the concentration increases the chip will fizz more violently.When the concentration has been doubled, the reaction will havedoubled.The reaction rate can be increased if the concentration of thereactant is raised. As there are more particles to react with in ahigher concentration of acid, the chance of an effective collisiongoes up.
